Description:

Eagle uses three species-specific fish: anchovy, sardine and salmon, unlike "Whitefish" which is a generic name "for any specie of non-oily, white fish."  It means you can't ever be sure what specie of fish is in your dog's diet.  It can be different every time...like feeding a different formula each time you open a bag.  Worse still, the meat fillets go to your supermarket and the head and skeleton go to dog food plants.  We list our species, and we know our anchovy and sardine are low in ash and magnesium because we use the entire fish, meat and all, just like you eat from the sardine can.  Our salmon is harvested wild and is not commercially raised.
